On February 16, Autumn celebrated her third birthday at home with the family.

Summer is always such a busy time for us, but this year it was filled with doctors' appointments, as we were trying to find someone we felt comfortable with to perform Autumn's g-tube surgery.

On November 20, 2008, our Autumn stood up alone for the first time, only holding on to the couch for support.  This was the first time she ever stood up unassisted, and she was so proud of herself.  The look on her face says it all.  It was bittersweet, especially when she said, "Look Mom--even babies stand!"
