2010 SMA Calendar

We’re here again! It’s time for the 4th edition of the SMA Calendar. This calendar features children, adults, and families living with or remembering people with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). I know that there are MANY new families who do not know anything about the calendar, so a brief overview. I did the 1st SMA Calendar in 2007 and raised funds for SMA Support. The 2008 and 2009 calendars I divided the funds between SMA Support (www.smasupport.com) and Marshall’s Miles (www.marshallsmiles.com). The 2010 calendar will benefit Marshall’s Miles but with a twist. All of the money raised will go to Marshall’s Miles but half of it will be earmarked for SMA Supply to help purchase equipment that insurance will not buy. Anyway, on to the particulars and interesting stuff…

1) The deadline for sending pictures has passed so I have plenty of time to get it set up before Christmas. If you sign up and decide to send pictures at a later date, you will receive only 2 e-mail reminders (due to my vacation schedule). You will be able to purchase the calendar by September 18, 2009, but I will keep everyone updated.  You must send me a picture since I am taking 3 classes this summer as I will not have time to go find a picture of your kid. 
2) Now the cost issue! I am going to do them through my Cafepress store again as it does NOT require an upfront cost. Each person can go into the Cafepress shop and order how many they want and profits will go to Laurie Potter. I will, once again, charge $20.00 per calendar, $5.00 will go to Marshall’s Miles.
