Elizabeth, I just wanted to say "Hello" and that I think you are a very brave young lady. I clicked on your link when a friend of mine, Marissa Christina, told me about SMA. Marissa is focusing on one disability per month in 2012 and SMA is the first one. Marissa as asked me to represent those that suffer from vestibular disorders for her December 2012 focus. I have been living with vertigo since October 2010 and do not yet have a diagnosis. I am learning a lot about dizziness. There are many, many causes. Now it is time for me to learn about other ailments. I do not know anyone with SMA did not know anything about it until today. By looking at all of your pictures on your site, I feel like I have met you in person. You are beautiful and full of life and I can see that you bring joy to those that care for you. You have brought joy into my life as well, Elizabeth. Thank you for everything you are doing to help those with SMA and for helping others understand your condition. Hi, My 2 and a Half month old daughter Amanda has been diagnosed with SMA type 1. I am interested to know which medicine are you taking and if it is working. I do not live in the USA so maybe getting the medicine would be less of an issue for us. Please let us know ASAP, we want to do everything possible for Amanda's survival. Your website give's me hope. My cousin has a baby boy who is 10 weeks old with SMA type 1. My whole family is crushed by this terrible baby killer.I hope and I will pray for strength for lizzy and your family. GOD BLESS YOU
