LEG ROM

Do each exercise 3 xs and hold for 30 seconds!!!

 

KNEE FLEXION:

Roll Sara onto tummy,

      Support at hip & grasp ankle,

Bend knee by moving the foot towards the buttock until in line w/ knee.

 

Ankle Dorsiflexion:

Hold knee straight,

Cup heel in your palm,

Gently pull to bend foot toward knee.

Do not lift heel up.

 

HIP EXTERNAL ROTATION:

      Bring knee up in line w/ hip,

      Hold knee still & gently bring foot inward to stomach,

      Do not lift pelvis off floor.

 

HIP ABDUCTION:

      Grasp both knees bending up toward stomach,

      Spread knees out to sides,

      Do not lift pelvis off floor.

 

HIP HAMSTRING STRETCH:

Hold one leg down & raise other leg into air,

Keep the raised knee straight,

Do not lift pelvis off floor.

 

HIP FLEXION:

      Bring knee to chest,

      Hold opposite leg flat & straight.
