I can never say all that I feel because most of the time I am still in shock. This is my family and no one is supposed to hurt them, at least not without having to answer to me. I want to thank David and Tracy for Skylar and what she is teaching me about myself and my priorities and life even though this is a parents/grandparents nightmare. Tracy and Skylar...I have read your "new" story and it brought me to tears!! What a little fighter you are Sky and you make everyone so proud! It is amazing what our kids go through yet they are always happy. So many of you points sounded so familiar with Nathan as well as Lily (a little different with Lily)...I had a "failure to progress" c-section with Nathan and a repeat (not failure but just repeated the c-section because I had already had it before) and when I look at many stories with out SMA kids I see that over and over the failure to progress. Hey Sky, how's it going? We were just looking at your Easter pics again so mommy can get motivated to put mine up. I really like the Rubber Ducky song on your first page! My mommy keeps telling me that when we go to New Jersey, she is going to take billions of pics of me and you together (and our other friends too!). So, be ready to be a super model! Is your mommy going to let you swim if there is a pool? I don't know if you can get your broviac wet. When my great grandma had cancer, she had a broviac and she covered it up really well with plastic and water proof tape so she could go swimming. But, mommy is not even sure if I can go yet. Hi guys I am killing time trying to keep myself occupied... my 5 yr old son has leukemia & I am waiting for the oncologist to call back with today's results, they think he may be in relapse. So, trying to keep my mind occupied, I came across Skylar's page. What a cutie! I am SO sorry for all you have to go through, you are so young to be on this emotional roller coaster. Hello! I was taken aback at how much Skylar looks like Haley (SMA I, age 4 1/2), our daughter. She is beautiful. I am writing at the recommendation of Stephanie Price.
