THE LOST CHRISTMAS

The Christmas tree didn't go up this year you know,

The baby doll didn't leave the store shelf.

The paper and ribbon didn't wrap pretty little dresses.

Frosty, Rudolph and Santa Claus were left to be.

No cookies were cut out and placed in a warm oven.

No angel was put up because the angel was sent to Heaven.

The only thing that happened this year is a pretty red flower and a

"butterfly" blowing in the wind.

For you see they were placed on the ground

next to the angel that went away.

Our precious angel, the one who celebrates

the true meaning of Christmas in the arms of

the guest of honor.
