CHRISTIAN T. WARD TITUSVILLE Christian Taylor Ward, June 7, 2001 - April 14, 2007, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007. Let the children come to me, and do not hin der them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. Matthew 19:14.Christian was a bright ray of light in this world. He was diagnosed at ten months old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), the leading ge netic killer of children under two. He drove a power wheel chair since the time he was 16 months old and was nothing short of a genius. He was amazing, vibrant and loved learning. His favorite things to learn about were sea life, bugs, snakes, and dino saurs. Christian loved playing with his friends and attended Enterprise Elementary. He was such a fun and enthusiastic child to be around. Christian lived with his mom my, Ashley Bruton Ward and his Grammy and Grampy, Paige and Gary Leslie. He was also survived by his paternal grand ma and grandpa, Marilyn and Randy Ward of SC and his daddy, Jonathan Ward. Christian knew where he was going and had no fears of enter ing heaven. He was excited about all that he might see there someday. We are all so thankful to have shared his short journey with him. He touched so many lives and so those who wish to celebrate his journey are wel come to come on Friday night, April 20th, to Indian River City United Methodist Church, 1355 Cheney Hwy., Titusville. The viewing will be from 6 - 7 p.m. and the service will be from 7 - 8 p.m. It is requested that you bring a note or letter of how Christian touched your life. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Fathers house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. In Loving Memory of Christian Taylor Ward June 7, 2001 - April 14, 2007 Its hard to believe that nearly eight weeks have passed since my little man went home, but its so much harder to believe that he only celebrated five birthdays while he was here. Christian you were a conqueror, an explorer, a genius in a tiny body, a humanitarian, a comedian, an inspiration and my effervescent baby. As I celebrate your 6th birthday today, I am reminded of the day you were born. You came in to this world with a bang and it seemed like in a flash you were gone. You changed me forever and I know Heaven rejoices over you, but my son, I cannot wait until I can see you again.
