Nadine- I wouldn't worry about getting your child sick thru your breast milk. If you are clean collecting it and it is in the freezer it's fine. On the contrary, you are passing on immunity from your cold to them, so that they wouldn't get it or they would be able to fight it very well if he did. Your body produces antibodies for the baby to fight off things you've already developed immunity to and colds you may have/are getting. So it's fine, between breastmilk and the amino acid diet our children are thriving. Keep up the hard work pumping, I know it can be such a pain.
