| Adoption was a choice made by Rusty and
        Dawna Seavers to resolve their wait for a child.
         Sara came as an answered prayer, though with a
        condition. 
        A very rare one: Spinal Muscular Atrophy. 
        Potentially life-threatening and embedded in her
        genes, the disease would not go away, the doctors said. 
        At first, a hard pill to swallow, but ultimately
        very therapeutic 
        As Rusty says, "It doesn't matter.  We're
        not sending her back." 
        The diagnosis is old news, now. 
        Today is what matters-and tomorrows. 
        Challenges to meet at home, and research in far off
        places.
